Description: First semester, students will be “walked through” the steps to writing a research paper as they write two reports. Second semester, they will use these skills to produce a major research paper. Supporting skills, such as summarizing and note taking, will also be taught. Students should plan on 1½-2 hours of homework per week, but this will vary depending on what phase of the paper we are in. Additionally, time will need to be spent in the library for this class.
