Description: This class is designed for any person wanting to do better in art. Come learn basic fundamentals, which apply to most art forms. Fundamentals taught are: line & shape, perspective & proportion, shading, negative & positive space, grid work, scaling, still life & composition, and faces. Final project is a self-portrait. These basic skills, taught in a casual but structured environment, prepare anyone to move on to advanced media (watercolor, colored pencils, pen & ink, etc).
