Description: This is an introductory level course. Students do not need any prior experience with grammar. The curriculum is simple, straightforward, and fun! We will thoroughly study the parts of speech, learn how to classify sentences, study capitalization and punctuation rules, and move on from there. We will not cover the writing component included in the curriculum. There will be homework each week including journaling, vocabulary words, and grammar exercises. Expect to spend 1 to 3 hours per week on homework. You may purchase the book individually; however, I will make a group purchase one month prior to class beginning.
