Text: Risas y Sonrisas by Spanish for Kids ($45) includes a CD-Rom and Skit-CD to listen to at home. This is the same text used in Spanish 1. Also considering the Cuaderno de Ejercicios (workbook approx. $15--if available from publisher) The facilitator will contact parents over the summer to place a bulk order.

Description: This is a continuation of Spanish 1. We will proceed to build on our reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills developed in Spanish 1 with more vocabulary units and the conjugation of more verbs. Using conventional and total physical response methods we will play games, sing songs, role play, and do constant review. Participation in conversation will be emphasized to develop the student's confidence in his/her ability to communicate in both written and spoken Spanish.
