Description: Washington State History covers the history of our state starting with pre-contact Indian cultures, through Lewis and Clark, Pioneers, Statehood, Industrialization, and up to the present day.  We will look at how past decisions, actions, and policies have created the state we live in today.  Students will be reading from the textbook and completing a variety of assignments including essays, maps, and chapter questions.  Unit tests are given throughout the year.  Two major reports/projects and a museum visit are required for a passing grade in this class.
