Text:  A list of plays will be sent out over the summer
Description: No other English-speaking writer has had a greater influence on Western literature and thought than Shakespeare, so why not settle down with his writings for a year?  We will study a number of plays, sonnets, and poems, to understand and even emulate the bard in our own writing.  This class will include enough writing to qualify it as a full English credit in spite of the limited scope.  Homework will range from 2-4 hours per week, including reading.
