Description: Join us as we continue to explore the world of written and oral Spanish. This class builds upon what was learned in Spanish 1A. Students will continue studying Spanish vocabulary and grammar as they work to improve their conversation skills. This class will cover possessive and demonstrative adjectives, prepositions, numbers to 1,000, stem-changing verbs, irregular verbs, and the preterite tense. We will supplement the text with projects, games, quizzes, and Bible verses. We will go to a nearby Mexican restaurant where the students will order their food in Spanish. This is a non-Connections sponsored activity. Supply fee includes a binder, worksheets, binder inserts, and a bi-monthly Spanish magazine. This class is the second half of Spanish 1. When you complete this class, you will have finished the first year of High School Spanish. There are 2-3 hours of homework per week.
